Sichuan Hot and Sour Soup with chicken and mushroom

 Stir-fried prawns and cashew nuts with smoked chillies

Friday 13th January 2012 – THAI FAVOURITES

Learn to make a spice paste from scratch and get familiar with all the exotic herbs and aromatics from Southeast Asia

 Moo Krapow – stir-fried chopped pork with krapow basil and chilli

 Pulot Inti – steamed sticky rice and coconut with palm sugar wrapped in banana leaves

 Gado Gado – Medley of blanched vegetables with spicy peanut sauce

In this class Maureen will teach you how to cook Oriental Canapés.  The demonstration starts at 6:30pm and lasts approximately 2 hours, during which sample canapés will be circulated.  Afterwards, attendees will be invited to try their hand at making the spring rolls and dumplings*. The evening ends at about 9pm.
